At the end of March, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) removed the long slide in Hong Kong Park Playground as certain parts needed to be replaced, but no replacements were found. The area is now surrounded by railings and it has become apparent that the LCSD has no intention of installing a new slide.
We understand that without renovation, the slide cannot be used safely; however, we would expect LCSD to search for a new slide for the sake of our children.
The slide was greatly appreciated by kids in the outdoor playground and there is no doubt that without it, the playground is much less fun for them!
Please sign the petition to request LCSD to bring back our slide, and let the kids have fun!
We, the undersigned, hereby petition to the to Director of Leisure and Cultural Services to:
Install a new slide in Hong Kong Park Playground. The slide was greatly appreciated by kids in the outdoor playground and there is no doubt that without it, the playground is much less fun for them!
