The Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region, Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Administration Committee on Municipal Affairs, The President of ANIMA Macao,
532 greyhounds in Macau [Yat Yuen] Canidrome are in a desperate situation. They urgently need the help from the volunteers. Since a number of dogs have just got sterilized, they need the volunteers to take care of their wounds.
If any complication appears, the greyhounds can receive immediate care. The environment and hygiene in the temporary kennel is severe and problematic, not to mention the simple and crude medical equipment. It is definitely not an ideal place for any pets. Either for the kennel or the greyhounds, they all need the care from the volunteers. Yet, these kind-hearted pet lovers can only enter the kennel on weekends. In the light of this, we are urging the Macau government and relating departments, for the sake of the dogs, to allow the volunteers to enter the kennel every day of the week to take care of the dogs. Unite together for monitoring, so that the living and hygienic conditions can be improved to provide a suitable, comfortable, homey environment for the dogs and get prepared for the adoption project ahead.
